Rainy evening in SF union Square

Its been 5 days since my San Francisco Trip and I already miss it. I can't explain how perfect the trip was on so many levels. I went with one of my best friends, Purnika. We've been dreaming on going on a trip together ever since high school and I still can't believe that we did this. (internal happy dance)

We were dreading the huge storm that was predicted to overcome the city for the entire 3 days that we were there; BUT mother nature had spared us and gave us light showers once we arrived. Of course, we had a 4 hour plane delay but that's all that went wrong :D

We arrived around 2:00 pm and immediately checked into our hostel. I highly recommended this hostel if you're new in the area and are looking for an affordable and cultural place to stay. Its hidden in an alleyway on Taylor Street and has the cutest decor.

Seeing that there wasn't too much planned, we decided to wander downtown and check out Union Square. I loved how everything was so close to each other. Street lights changed every 30 seconds and there were pedestrians everywhere. We were out for 5 hours and it was the perfect way to start our adventure.

At night, Union square was especially beautiful because of their decorative lights and reflection on on the pavement. I reminds me of a Leonid Afremov painting.  :D

The weather wasn't even that cold or windy as I feared so overall, this was a beginning of one of the best trips every.  Stay tuned for more! :)
